Who we are & what we do

The Town Council comprises twelve elected Councillors who serve for a four year term. All Councillors are unpaid. The Secretary of State for Communities, the Rt Hon James Brokenshire MP laid an Order before Parliament to delay elections in Northamptonshire due in May 2019 until May 2020. This will mean that the next elections for the Town Council will be held in May 2020. For further details look at News » Elections postponed until 2020.

Council Meetings are normally held on the 3rd Thursday of each month (except August) see the diary of meetings for more information.
