Planning Applications

Planning Applications are normally discussed by the Full Council which meets on the third Thursday of each month. Details of the meetings are shown in the Council Calendar. The Agenda for the forthcoming meeting is published at least 3 days prior to the meeting.

The Town Council can comment on applications affecting the Desborough. However, Desborough Town Council is not the Planning Authority and cannot give or refuse consent. For most applications, the Planning Authority is Kettering Borough Council which makes decisions having regard to comments received from members of the public, other local authorities (like ours), and statutory undertakers (e.g. power companies).
